Workspace settings let you manage your workspace details, team members, billing, and subscription plans. You can access these settings from Settings in the sidebar.

- Workspace Name: Your workspace display name (3-80 characters)

Members
Manage who has access to your workspace and what they can do.
Understanding Roles
LeadJot has three role levels with different permissions:
Owner
- ✅ Full access to everything
- ✅ Can manage billing and subscriptions
- ✅ Can delete the workspace
- ✅ Can manage all settings and members
- ✅ Can invite and remove members
- ✅ Can change member roles
There is typically one Owner per workspace (the person who created it).
Admin
- ✅ Can manage workspace settings
- ✅ Can create and manage chatbots
- ✅ Can create and manage knowledge bases
- ✅ Can invite new members
- ✅ Can change member roles (Member ↔ Admin)
- ❌ Cannot access billing information
- ❌ Cannot delete the workspace
- ❌ Cannot change Owner role
Member
- ✅ Can create and manage chatbots
- ✅ Can create and manage knowledge bases
- ✅ Can view workspace data and usage
- ❌ Cannot change workspace settings
- ❌ Cannot invite or manage members
- ❌ Cannot access billing information
- ❌ Cannot delete the workspace
Inviting Members
To invite someone to your workspace:
- Go to Settings → Members
- Scroll to the "Invite Members" section
- Click "Invite Member"
- Enter their email address
- Select their role (Member or Admin)
- Click "Send Invite"
The person will receive an email invitation. Once they accept, they'll have access to your workspace based on their assigned role.
Only Admins and Owners can invite members. Invitations expire after 72 hours (3 days) if not accepted. You can cancel pending invitations if needed.
Managing Existing Members
In the "Manage Members" section, you can:
View all members
See everyone who has access to your workspace, including their roles and when they joined. You can see both active members and pending invitations in separate tables.
Change member roles
You can update a member's role between Member and Admin. Here are the restrictions:
- Members can be promoted to Admin
- Admins can be demoted to Member
- Owners cannot have their role changed
- You cannot change your own role
Remove members
Removing a member immediately revokes their access to the workspace. They will:
- Lose access to all chatbots and knowledge bases
- No longer see workspace data or conversations
- Need to be re-invited to regain access
You cannot remove the workspace Owner. To transfer ownership, contact support.
Managing Invitations
In the "Invite Members" section, you can:
- View pending invitations: See who has been invited but hasn't accepted yet
- Cancel invitations: Remove pending invitations if needed
