Leads
Explore the leads captured by your chatbot.
The Leads page shows all contact information that visitors have submitted through your chatbot's Lead Form actions. This is where you'll find potential customers who've expressed interest and provided their details.
Viewing Leads
Leads are displayed in a table with the following information:
Name - The visitor's name as they entered it in the lead form
Email - The visitor's email address. Hover over the email to see a copy button that lets you quickly copy it to your clipboard
Phone - The visitor's phone number (if they provided one and your lead form includes a phone field)
Created at - When the lead was captured, shown as date and time
Exporting Leads
To download all your leads for use in a spreadsheet or CRM:
- Click the Export button in the top-right corner
- Your leads will be downloaded as a file (typically CSV or Excel format)
- Open the file in your spreadsheet application or import it into your CRM
The export includes all leads for your chatbot, not just the ones visible on the current page.
Export your leads regularly to keep your CRM or email marketing tool updated. The export includes all lead data in a format that's easy to import into most systems.
Understanding Lead Forms
Leads are captured when visitors fill out a Lead Form action in your chatbot. Lead Forms can collect:
- Name (usually required)
- Email (usually required)
- Phone (optional, depending on your form configuration)
When you configure a Lead Form action, you choose which fields to include, whether they're required, and what labels/placeholders to show visitors. All submissions from that form appear on this Leads page.
Using Your Leads
Once you have leads, you can:
- Contact prospects - Reach out via email or phone to follow up on their interest
- Import to CRM - Export and import into your customer relationship management system
- Track conversions - See which chatbot conversations are turning into qualified leads
- Analyze patterns - Review when leads come in and which conversations result in submissions
Leads are stored permanently until you delete them, so you can build a database of interested visitors over time.
To start capturing leads, you'll need to set up a Lead Form action in your chatbot. See the Actions documentation for details on configuring lead capture forms.
